Redvers

Redvers, Saskatchewan

The town of Redvers, with a population of just under 1,000 is located in Southeast Saskatchewan , about 15 miles from the Manitoba provincial boundary.

The town sits on Highway 13, nicknamed the ‘Redcoat trail’. It is a scenic route taken in 1874 by the North West Mounted Police on their way to combat the illegal trade of whiskey. Not surprisingly thus, the town’s most notable landmark is a colored statue of a RCMP officer on a horse.
